The use of chalkboards takes advantage of seasonal changes this gives the regular diner that much needed variety to the usual menu choice. Local produce is used where possible and all food is cooked and prepared on the premises. A wide range of a dozen or more homemade puddings are always available.
There is a separate printed menu which operates all day every day and this is a bar food menu with a difference with its choices of classic sandwiches, topped ciabatta breads, popular ploughman’s, nachos, an interesting variety of small plate meals or just about anything on toast.
Of course, although The Fish majors on its food you can also call in for just a drink with four real ales on offer, a selection of 15 wines that won’t break the bank all on offer by the glass or bottle, or you’re just as welcome to call in for a coffee, cappuccino, latte, espresso, hot chocolate or just regular coffee are waiting to be sampled.

Monday - Saturday from 12 noon - 9.30pm
Sunday from 12 noon - 9.00pm.
The Chalkboard Menus have a selection of daily home cooked dishes on them, which are freshly prepared on the premises. These are available:
Monday - Thursday 12 noon - 2.30pm 6.00 - 9.30pm
Friday - Saturday 12 noon - 2.30pm 6.00 - 10.00pm
Sunday 12 noon - 9.00pm
